Sovereign Tower Knight Quest Matcher Tool

Match knight stats to quest focus before you assign the Round Table

Knight Quest Matcher

The Knight Quest Matcher is a fan wiki tool for Sovereign Tower that helps you pick knights before committing a day on the Round Table. Wild Wits designs quests around five visible stats — Strength, Agility, Charisma, Magic, and Wit — plus personality tags the matcher does not see. When two knights look close on paper, this widget highlights which profile better fits the quest focus you select so you can avoid preventable failures in Act 0 and Act 1 demo content.

Read Knight Stats Explained first so stat names on quest cards map to the dropdown options below. Then use Quest Success Tips for consumables, faction fallout, and fear tags the tool intentionally skips.

What the matcher checks

Each demo knight ships with a stat spread tuned for specific quest archetypes. Angelica leans Charisma and diplomacy; Goberto packs Strength; Ursula skews Magic; Gideon balances combat stats; Gwendan acts as a flexible all-rounder with ego-driven downsides. Secret recruits like Chester or Brunhilda may not appear in default lists until you unlock them — add their stats mentally from Secret Knights when planning spoiler routes.

The matcher compares your chosen quest focus — brawl, stealth, speech, arcane, puzzle, and hybrid options derived from demo cards — against those spreads. It outputs a suggested profile, not a guaranteed win. High Strength on a Wit puzzle still fails if you ignore the card text.

How to use the interactive matcher

Follow these steps each Round Table phase:

  1. Open the active quest on the Round Table and note the highest stat requirement and any secondary tag.
  2. Pick the closest focus in the tool dropdown — for example, choose Charisma for audience errands or Strength for beast hunts.
  3. Read the suggested knight profile and compare it to your unlocked roster on Knight Roster.
  4. If the suggestion conflicts with a personality fear — Gwendan in dark caves, Gwendan on relic hunts — pivot using Quest Success Tips.
  5. Apply consumables from Consumables and Potions when the matcher shows a near miss instead of swapping knights blindly.

The live widget loads below. Click to activate it if you are on mobile data; the embed stays lightweight until interaction.

When to trust — and override — results

Trust the matcher when:

  • Two knights differ by one stat point and no fear tags apply.
  • You need a quick answer during stacked quest days.
  • You are learning stat names and want training wheels before hard mode assignments.

Override the matcher when:

  • Quest copy mentions items — cheese, mounts, horses — tied to a specific knight.
  • Faction consequences favor a weaker stat fit to appease Nobles or Merchants.
  • You are setting up a Demon rewind experiment and want to test a failure route intentionally.

IGN preview coverage reminds players that taxes fund horses and potions that effectively change quest fit even when base stats look low. Factor gear before you treat a yellow matcher result as a hard no.

Example demo scenarios

Bathhouse Goose follow-ups — Community tips mix Wit improvisers with travel consumables. Pick Wit or hybrid focus, then verify mount items manually.

Dragon Knight rematch — PC Gamer notes forging armor and swords for multiple knights. Use Strength focus but budget forge time from Crafting and Gear.

Diplomatic audience chains — Angelica shines on Charisma focus, yet faction promises may force you to send Gwendan for Noble visibility. Matcher shows stat fit; you still choose politics.

Beast Hunt secret routes — Sparky and Silgur unlocks depend on assignment choices beyond stats. Read Secret Knights after the matcher narrows candidates.

Limits and launch outlook

The tool uses demo Act 0 and Act 1 roster data. Full August 6, 2026 solo launch on Steam may add knights, stat rebalances, or Luck-heavy cards. Update your planning when Updates Hub notes matcher-relevant patches.

The matcher does not read save files and is not affiliated with Wild Wits or Curve Games. It is a planning aid hosted on this wiki alongside written guides.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does the Knight Quest Matcher guarantee quest success?

No. It suggests stat-fit knights based on demo data. Personality fears, missing consumables, and faction pressure can still cause failures — see [Quest Success Tips](/guides/quest-success/).

Which stats does the matcher use?

Strength, Agility, Charisma, Magic, and Wit — the same five core stats documented on [Knight Stats](/knights/stats/). Luck and hidden modifiers are not modeled.

Why is my secret knight missing from suggestions?

Secret recruits unlock mid-run through story choices. Add their stats manually from [Secret Knights](/knights/secret-knights/) until the widget roster expands.

Should I use the matcher on mobile?

Yes. Tap the embed to load it on mobile; the facade keeps the page fast until you interact, matching other wiki tool pages.
