Endings and Satisfaction Guide

Sovereign Tower ends its first reign in Act 3 when the Emperor ultimatum lands around Cycle 45. Wild Wits then asks you to pick a closure that your dominant Sovereign style actually unlocked — not a menu of every fantasy at once. Curve Games launched the solo Round Table RPG on August 6, 2026. Patch 1.1.0 (September 7, 2026) added two new endings: The Concordat and The Renunciation. Community sheets now name nine main outcomes: War, Extended War, Peace, Peace with Key, Marriage, Surrender, Tower Destruction, The Concordat, and The Renunciation. This page states those names with a spoiler warning instead of pretending the list is still unknown.

Heavy Act 3 spoilers below. If you only want structure, stay on Full Campaign Structure and Act 3 Walkthrough. Pair this page with Sovereign Archetypes, Romance, and New Game Plus.

Cycle 45 — what actually happens

The Emperor forces a decision. Your highest style track (or a tie / no dominant style) decides which closures the Demon and court will honour. Community tables agree on this availability map:

Dominant styleEndings you can reach
None / tiedWar, Tower Destruction
AudaciousWar, Marriage, Peace with Key, Tower Destruction
KindWar, Surrender, Peace with Key, Tower Destruction
WiseWar, Peace, Surrender, Extended War, The Concordat, Tower Destruction
Wise + Kind blendThe Renunciation (requires cultivated successor)

Read the table twice. Marriage is Audacious-only. A Kind or Wise ruler who spent the campaign courting Oliver still cannot take the political marriage finale unless Audacious is the winning track. A Neutral save that never committed a style is locked into War or Tower Destruction — that is why Sovereign Archetypes belong in week one, not week forty-four.

Peace with Key needs the Golden Key on an Audacious or Kind run. Plain Peace sits on the Wise column. Surrender is Kind or Wise. Extended War is Wise. The Concordat requires Wise archetype tone, high People satisfaction, and at least three faction leaders supporting peace. The Renunciation requires voluntary abdication to a chosen successor cultivated through loyalty events. War and Tower Destruction appear on every row — they are the fallbacks when you refuse a softer close or never built the item/style pair a gentler ending wants.

The two new endings (Patch 1.1.0)

The Concordat (new in 1.1.0): Reunify the kingdom through diplomatic alliance with the Emperor. Requires Wise archetype tone in final negotiations, high People satisfaction, and at least three faction leaders supporting peace. This is the diplomatic True Ending path for Wise players who did not hold the Golden Key.

The Renunciation (new in 1.1.0): Abdicate the tower voluntarily, passing governance to a chosen successor before Cycle 45. Triggers only if a designated heir has been cultivated through sufficient loyalty events. The Demon epilogue differs from Surrender — you chose to leave rather than being forced out.

Both new endings are accessible in existing saves that have not reached Cycle 45 and in New Game Plus.

How each main ending actually resolves

Community ending sheets now name the final checks. Treat numbers as community-verified floors.

War. Offered on every row. Choose to fight, then win The final confrontation: 6 knights, STR 15 / AGI 11 / MAG 7 / WIT 4 / LCK 4. Bretania stays dominant.

Extended War. Wise, plus the Golden Key and the World Domination quest (6 knights, STR 15 / AGI 12). Longer, bloodier epilogue than a simple battlefield win.

Peace. Wise can take Peace directly. Audacious or Kind need the Key and must offer it. Two routes to the same political slide:

  • Victoria on the table — the ending can resolve in the conversation. No final quest.
  • Without Victoria — win The final battle, an 8-knight tournament (STR 12 / AGI 8 / CHA 11 / MAG 6 / WIT 3 / LCK 3), gentler than war but hungry for the whole roster.

Without the Key the treaty frays later. With the Key handed over, it holds. Recruit path: Get Victoria.

Marriage. Audacious only. Propose at the ultimatum. No final quest. Romantic and non-romantic dialogue forks still land on the same kingdom merge. Love Is All is a slide system, not this gate.

Surrender. Kind or Wise. Submit in the conversation, no final quest. Surrender by choice (before you are beaten) is bloodless. Surrender in defeat after failing the fight is the dark inverse.

The Concordat. Wise archetype tone, high People satisfaction (10+), at least three faction leaders supporting peace. Reunification through diplomatic alliance with the Emperor. No final battle quest. New in patch 1.1.0.

The Renunciation. Voluntary abdication path. Requires a chosen successor cultivated through loyalty events throughout the run. The Demon epilogue acknowledges your peaceful exit rather than conquest or defeat. New in patch 1.1.0.

Tower Destruction. Every row, via keeping the Golden Key for yourself, then the same war confrontation. It ends at the next cycle transition, skips Demon Power and character slides, and offers no try-again. Read Demon Power before you pick it on a completionist save.

Fail the final quest (or the ultimatum itself) and you do not get an ending — rewind or reload; do not hunt a console command (Codes FAQ).

Romance slides versus the main ending

The main finale and the character goodbye slides are different systems. Completing Love Is All does not auto-pick Marriage. Community sheets list romance-changed slides for Gideon, Gwendan, Ursula, Brunhilda, Ligia, Oliver, Rowan, Carina, Belladonna, and the Lady of the Tower. Oliver’s recruit gate still lives on How to Get Oliver; Brunhilda’s still on How to Get Brunhilda.

Multi-romance penalties can wipe a slide you thought you earned. Court one target. Feed favourite meals on Cooking so a resignation does not delete the goodbye you wanted.

How endings still read the rest of the save

Style is the gate. Tone still comes from:

Two Audacious saves can both unlock Marriage and still feel unlike each other if one fed People and the other starved them for three acts.

The Demon satisfaction prompt

After credits, the Demon in the crypts asks whether you are satisfied with your ending. That question is the NG+ lobby, not a cosmetic button:

  1. Satisfied — return toward title flow; late Act 3 saves may still let you try another close.
  2. Not satisfied / another reign — start a knowledge-aware replay with partial carry-over (New Game Plus).

Mid-act rewinds still work in a second reign. Endings do not remove crypt mechanics — they add a meta-choice on top. Brunhilda recruitment still uses mid-act rewinds, not this finale prompt. How many times you used that crypt also drives a separate Demon Power epilogue (nothing at 0 rewinds, lighter at 1–19, extra darker scene at 20+) unless you picked Tower Destruction. Full table: Demon Power Ending.

What carries versus what resets

Carries (review + community NG+ notes):

  • Player knowledge and dialogue that acknowledges prior timelines
  • Sovereign attributes / archetypes persist in part
  • Unlock intel — Witch, trainers, secret locations found earlier

Resets:

  • Faction meters restart
  • Story state replays the acts — deaths and alliances are not frozen history

Patch 1.1.0 raised the Demon rewind soft cap to 12 uses per reign but did not change the corruption band thresholds. For romance and death slide variants, see Character Endings. For rewind-count epilogues, see Demon Power. For all nine endings including the new ones, see All Endings Guide.

Planning weeks before Cycle 45

  1. Pick the style that unlocks the close you want — Audacious for Marriage, Wise for plain Peace or The Concordat, Kind or Wise for Surrender.
  2. If you want Peace with Key, finish the Golden Key before the ultimatum week.
  3. If you want The Renunciation, cultivate a successor through loyalty events throughout the run.
  4. Stabilise factions (especially People) if pursuing The Concordat — target 10+ People satisfaction and three faction leaders supporting peace.
  5. Clear pending emergencies so timers do not collide with Act 3 spikes (Emergency Quests).
  6. Finish the one romance you will credit toward Love Is All (Achievements).
  7. Leave seats for the late prizes you actually want on this save — Edith, Ari, Epicrate, Gothild.

Endings versus Demon rewinds

MechanicWhenPurpose
Crypt rewindAny unlocked morningUndo a bad day or branch

NG+ promptAfter Act 3 creditsStart second reign with carry-over

Confusing these three wastes saves. A rewind will not change which style row you sit on if you never accumulated the track.

Sovereign Tower endings reward a style you meant. Rule toward the row you want, cook the goodbye you want, and answer the Demon honestly — because after Cycle 45, it asks.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many endings does Sovereign Tower have as of Patch 1.1.0?

Nine confirmed main endings: War, Extended War, Peace, Peace with Key, Marriage, Surrender, Tower Destruction, The Concordat, and The Renunciation.

What are the two new endings in Patch 1.1.0?

The Concordat (reunification through diplomatic alliance, requires Wise tone and high People satisfaction) and The Renunciation (voluntary abdication to a cultivated successor).

Which style unlocks the marriage ending?

Marriage is Audacious-only. Completing a romance (Love Is All) is a separate slide system and does not replace the style gate.

What if no Sovereign style is dominant?

Tied or empty style tracks lock you into War or Tower Destruction. Commit a track before the late Act 3 weeks.

Does Victoria skip the Peace final quest?

Yes. With Victoria seated, Peace can resolve in the ultimatum conversation. Without her you fight an 8-knight tournament. See [Get Victoria](/guides/get-victoria/).

What does the Demon ask after Act 3?

Whether you are satisfied with your ending. Accepting another reign starts NG+ with carried knowledge. See [New Game Plus](/guides/new-game-plus/).
